Art is Everything Coming soon!
Submit your art for consideration to be hung in our gallery. Keep in mind that while we do have themes for each show, you don’t have to provide art within the theme necessarily! All art can be sold, but the entire transaction is between the artist and the buyer. Art Williamston humbly requests that you donate 20% of your sales to our organization to provide you with a gallery to show your art.
The gallery is located inside the Williamston branch of the Capitol Area District Library

Marlene grew up on a small farm on Epley Road in Williamston. Five years ago, without any prior experience, she decided to give watercolor a try. She took the Basic Serious Beginners class from Anita Saviko at Michigan Lighthouse Art Gallery in Williamston and has continued to progress under the tutelage of Anita ever since. Marlene is also a Certified Organic Agriculture Specialist and a Great Lakes Certified Floral Designer. Her business, FlowerEssence, LLC, is located at her Blue Barn Farm, where she grows cut flowers, herbs, and vegetables and cares for her three mules and donkey, Floyd.

I love the power jewelry has as an art form. I am captivated by nature and intrigued by mechanisms. I earned a BFA in Crafts from the Jewelry & Metalsmithing department of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Adornment by Kate Wilcox-Leigh officially opened in 2010.
You could describe my jewelry as classic with an edge. I use an array of metals and materials including sterling and fine silver, gold, iron as well as leather and various fibers. I apply traditional hand fabrication techniques like cutting, forming, joining and stone setting processes along with fiber techniques to my materials of choice. You will see earrings, pendants bracelets and rings that can be enjoyed casually everyday; along with jewelry that is perfect for that special occasion.
